So, I think I have discovered something that I love. Something that is dear to my heart. When Jimmy and I do wedding photography I get this excitement and rush, that determination to get the couple all the photos that they want. I am excited to give them that story that they are looking for. I love getting the moments that the couple didn’t see during the day, but I captured it with my camera.

With baby photography I discovered something else. When photographing a baby, I am consumed with capturing that sweet and innocent child. Check out some photos that I got last week.

The Resort

There is always a discussion whether it matters what your hotel is like. Well usually it doesn’t matter to me, but on this trip we went with a 4 star resort. And did it make a difference? Yes, it was beautiful there, the hotel was decorated very modern, all the cool furniture really appealed to us. It seemed the hotel was ready for us! Besides having a nice room, and very nice hotel, also there was a casino, salt water pool, clear water pool, hot rub, about 5 restaurants, and a lounge. One of the places that took my breath away was one of the restaurants, where we were for breakfast the first day. It really was a dream come true, no words can describe, so I will just show pictures.

Now, that’s a view to have while drinking coffee and eating breakfast.

Puerto Rico Trip Bible

When ever we go on our vacations or trips, we always try to make sure we have some sort of plan. And it’s not that we are trying to totally plan it out, but we do like to know whats around and what we would like to see. Afterall it is a new place, and there might be more to it than meets the eye. Puerto Rico trip wasn’t an exception, before we left we bought our bible. And there wasn’t a day that we didn’t use it, everyday we opened it for some advice on where to eat, where to go, what else is there to do. It even served us as a guide around Old San Juan, but that will be a whole new post. Stay tuned…

Puerto Rico – Bacardi

Let’s get a little more in the details. During our trip, on our 4th day we went to Bacardi Rum distillery. Not only it is located at the beautiful island of Puerto Rico, it is also THE biggest distillery in the world, producing 100,000 gallons of rum a DAY!

I have to mention that our tour was free and also we got free drinks! But that was just one little plus to this amazing tour. Learning the history about Bacardi rum, and the reason behind the bat as their logo was a ton of fun. I don’t want to spoil it for anyone, but if you have any questions, I will be happy to answer.

Our Forth Honeymoon

This year we had the best Thanksgiving. We left all family get togethers’ and large turkey dinners, and traded it in for sunshine, ocean, and romantic getaway. We went to Puerto Rico! As we just got in this morning, and only had two hours of sleep, I can’t even gather my thought to give you play-by-play, but for now sharing some photos!

I know, I haven’t been blogging for a while. But as much as often this excuse is being used, I must say “We have been busy”. Between photography, work, life, and everything else we haven’t had much time. So to share a little bit of our photography here are some photos.

We just got this awesome lighting kit, and we had to try it out. This shoot took place in Boston today, and it was freezing, but our model rocked it out!
